Dropsee Beta Terms

Version beta-2026-10-03 · September 17, 2026

Dropsee allows you to leave and discover notes, graffiti and sculptures in augmented reality. The following rules apply to the free beta on the official server.

1. Operator

The service provider is DIY Spice & Tea Jakub Binkowski, an entrepreneur entered in CEIDG, address: Piaskowo 56A, 64-500 Szamotuły, Polska, NIP 7872089960, REGON 526238361. Dropsee is the name of the application and service. Contact: info@dropsee.eu.

2. Participation in the beta

The Service is intended for people aged 16 and over. Persons aged 16–17 use with the consent of their parent or legal guardian; this consent is needed to conclude the contract. We do not address the service to children under 16 years of age.

Access to the beta requires an invitation, creating a profile and accepting the regulations. The contract for the free provision of the service is concluded when a profile is created after accepting the rules, for an indefinite period of time during the beta period. You can save the content of the regulations by printing the page or saving it as a PDF in your browser.

Beta is for testing purposes: features may be unstable and work may not be recognized. This is not an archiving or navigation service. Information about the test phase does not exclude legal liability.

3. Requirements and account

You need a compatible phone with Android 8 or later, 64-bit architecture, ARCore, camera, location and internet. Your ISP may charge its own fees. Instructions are on the website Getting started.

Choose a name that does not impersonate another person. Secure your recovery code. Do not give others access to your profile. In the event of loss of access, we will assist to the extent that we can safely confirm the owner; without such confirmation, we cannot transfer the account to another person.

4. Publishing and limits

You can post on Global or in a private space. Global is available to service users. In a private space, content is viewed by its members; they can take screenshots or share the invitation. Do not publish information there, the disclosure of which could harm you.

Separate limits of 5 notes and 5 sculptures per day per profile apply, common to all spaces, renewed at midnight Polish time. Graffiti has no daily limit on the number of entries. We limit the data size of a single job and excessive request frequency to protect the service from congestion and spam. Deleting a job does not renew the limit.

A sculpture may measure up to 5 m and must fit the available space. A work’s initial validity is up to 7 days; a work attached to a previously created location may expire sooner. In version 0.17, the author can extend an active work for free from My traces to up to 7 days from renewal, within the limits confirmed by Google. Renewal does not use the daily quota, add successive weeks, or restore expired works. We do not guarantee indefinite anchor renewal. The expiry date is available in My traces. Works may be removed earlier by the author or through moderation.

Others may visually cover your graffiti with their work. This does not give anyone the right to harass or infringe on anyone else's content. Surface recognition is not reliable: use stationary objects and keep copies of important models.

5. Rights to works

You retain the rights to your songs. Publish only your own content or content for which you have appropriate consent or another legal basis. This also applies to models from the Internet, textures, images and trademarks.

To the extent necessary to provide the service, you grant the operator a non-exclusive, free license for digital recording, storage, creation of technical copies, technical conversion of data as well as displaying and making the work available to users of the selected space. The license covers the territories in which the service operates and the time the work is available; after its removal, only technical copies remain until the end of their retention or data retained on the required legal basis. This does not constitute consent to separate use of your work in Dropsee advertising.

6. Security and moderation

Illegal content, violating the rights of others, threats, harassment, hate, sexual content, child abuse, fraud and spam are prohibited. Detailed community rules and child protection standards form part of these terms.

You can report content in the app or via email contact and block authors. Reports are reviewed by a person: the operator or an authorized space administrator. We may remove offending work and restrict use of the service to the extent necessary to stop abuse. The decision shall take into account the gravity, context and repetition of the infringement; Urgent threats require immediate response.

If we have contact information, we provide reasons for the decision and information about the possibility of challenging it, unless the law restricts such notification. You can appeal for free on info@dropsee.eu, providing the case or work ID and your arguments. We do not use an automatic system for assessing the legality of works. Technical limits and file validation may automatically reject saves.

AR does not give the right to enter other people's land or interfere with objects. Do not use the camera in a way that violates anyone’s privacy. Do not use Dropsee while driving or in a situation requiring safety attention.

7. Price and store previews

The current beta is free. Payments are disabled; add-on previews do not constitute an active purchase offer. There is no subscription fee. Activation of sales will be preceded by the provision of purchase conditions, prices and information on consumer rights. Participating in the beta itself does not incur any fees.

8. Complaints, withdrawal and termination of use

You can submit a complaint by e-mail to info@dropsee.eu or in writing to the operator's address. Describe the problem, date, expected solution and return contact; enter the profile ID if you know it. We do not require a special form. We will respond to consumer complaints within 14 days of receipt. We handle other requests without undue delay.

If you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract, you can exercise it within 14 days of its conclusion by sending a clear statement to the operator's address or info@dropsee.eu. Example: "I withdraw from the contract for the use of Dropsee concluded on ...; profile ID ...; name and surname ...; date ...." You don't have to use this pattern.

Regardless of your right of withdrawal, you can terminate the contract at any time free of charge and delete account. Deleting your account also deletes your private spaces and the work of their participants. Uninstalling the app does not in itself delete your account.

We will inform you about the planned end of the beta or a significant data reset at least 14 days in advance on the website and via the available contact channel. Urgent actions required by law or safety may occur sooner. The User retains mandatory rights, including rights in respect of non-conformity of the Digital Service with the contract, where applicable.

9. Policy changes

The Terms and Conditions may change due to changes in law, security, features or the way the service is provided. We will publish the new version, indicating the date and significant changes, generally at least 14 days before it enters into force; exceptions are urgent legal obligations and safeguards. We will present changes requiring approval before further publication. You can choose not to accept the changes and terminate your use without charge.

Polish law applies, maintaining consumer protection resulting from mandatory provisions. The Regulations do not limit the right to apply to the competent court or the assistance of a consumer ombudsman. Information about available dispute resolution methods: UOKiK - amicable resolution of disputes.

Beta extras

Selected extras can be claimed free during beta. Premium models are hidden. Claiming is not a purchase or a promise of free access after official release. No automatic payment follows. Any future purchase will require a separate, informed decision.

Pigment and rewards in beta 0.35

Pigment is a free activity point in Dropsee. It is not money and cannot be withdrawn, purchased with money or transferred to another profile. Earning rules, reward prices and paint stock appear in the app and help pages. This beta introduces no payments or subscription. A gold variant stays unlocked on that profile; paint is a consumable used upon successful publication.

Paint usage is estimated from artwork geometry and size. You confirm the quantity before saving. Designing a tag does not consume stock; each new placement in AR may use paint. Deleting published artwork or letting it expire does not refund material. Deleting your account also removes its points, stock and unlocks. Rewards do not remove publication limits or community rules. Future release parameters may change; any paid features will require a separate user decision.

Pigment feature update: 1 October 2026.

Clans and territory capture — beta 0.37

A user may belong to one player-created clan with a name, logo, tag, leader and up to 50 members. Joining uses an invitation code or open recruitment. After leaving, a 24-hour cooldown applies before joining another clan. Clan names and artwork follow the same content and third-party rights rules as other publications.

Territories use a separate map layer. Virtual ownership grants no rights over real property, surfaces or other users’ ordinary works. Map-based access estimates may be wrong. Before placing a tag, check that the location is outdoors, publicly accessible and safe. Stay off private land and traffic lanes and respect local restrictions and opening hours.

A clan can place up to 5 guardians at designated sites after approaching them. Attackers share progress within their clan: tap guardians in AR, then paint at least 70% of each required tag area. An attack expires 15 minutes after the first action. Defences cannot change during an active attack. Capture starts a 30-minute protection period. Clan capture paint is free and does not consume premium stock.

Clan tags move to the clan layer; other users’ ordinary works remain unchanged. In this beta, a territory is released when its tag anchor expires, at most 7 days after creation. Reports of private, indoor or unsafe sites disable the territory pending review. Gameplay parameters may change during beta; territories are not guaranteed in every area.

Proposed locations are not automatically active territories. The first player confirms access on site before saving a tag. Map data may omit fences, entrances and other restrictions.

Clan feature update — 0.38

New territories require three separately anchored tags, at least 15 m apart. Older single-tag territories retain their rules until voluntarily expanded; an expansion must be completed before attacks resume. Any member may add guardians to empty sites, up to five. Only the leader may remove or replace guardians and change their colors. An expired additional tag needs replacement; expiration of the main tag releases the territory. Empty-hex requests are proposals for review and grant no rights to a place or guarantee of activation.
