YOUR ACCOUNT. YOUR DECISION.
Delete account and data
You can delete your Dropsee account in the app or submit a request via email - without reinstalling the app.
The operator and data administrator is DIY Spice & Tea Jakub Binkowski.
You have access to the application
- Open Settings → Delete account and data.
- Check if you are using the correct profile and server.
- Read the deletion scope, confirm and wait for the completion message. You need an internet connection.
You don't have the app or profile access
Send request to info@dropsee.eu with the subject "Dropsee - Account Delete". Provide your profile ID if you know it, your profile name, and information to help you find your account. You can check the ID in Settings → Secure/Recover Account → Show Profile ID.
The button opens the mail with the prepared content. It doesn't send messages or delete your account automatically. If you don't have an email application configured, copy the address and write from any mailbox.
Do not send your password, token or recovery code. Your profile name and workplace may be public, so they do not prove account ownership. We will respond to arrange a safe way to confirm it. We do not require you to create a new Dropsee account or make a purchase. If we can't confirm eligibility, we'll explain why instead of deleting someone else's account.
What will be deleted
- Profile, access details, recovery codes and policy acceptance confirmations.
- Your publications and their location, re-save confirmations and publication counters.
- Memberships, current positions, holds and related reports, and moderation data as related to the deleted account and work.
- Private spaces you have created, invitations and the works of all their participants.
- Associations of purchased packages with the profile, if any. Deleting an account does not refund payments and does not transfer packages to a new profile. Payments are disabled in the current beta.
What can stay and for how long
After confirmed deletion in the application, data is deleted from the active database as part of this operation. We will process e-mail requests without undue delay; We respond no later than one month after receipt. If the complexity of the case requires a statutory extension of up to two further months, we will inform you of the reason in the first month.
Base copies rotate 7 days. A copy of the entire server may additionally contain previous copies of the database: full expiration of the copy does not have to occur within 7 days of deletion. We do not use copies for ordinary sharing of works. After a disaster recovery, you must redo the deletions before resuming access. Details and retention criteria are described privacy policy.
Confirmation of request processing or necessary evidence may remain in separate correspondence in order to demonstrate the fulfillment of the obligation or protect claims. If there is a legal obligation to continue to retain specific data, we will explain the basis and duration of this obligation, unless notice is prohibited by law.
The local model library remains on the phone. Remove it in the app by clearing its Android data or uninstalling it. External files, copies and screenshots do not disappear automatically. Deleting your Dropsee profile does not delete your Google account; data processed by Google is also subject to its policies.
Do you want to delete only part of your data?
You can delete your own active works via My traces. For other data, write to info@dropsee.eu and specify the scope. You don't have to delete your entire account to submit a data request.
